Diversity of languages and colors are among the signs of God Almighty.
And of His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the diversity of your languages and your colors. Indeed in that are signs for those of knowledge. (Qur’an 30:22)

Myth
Islam is split in Sunni and Shia.

Myth Buster
Muslims and not Islam are divided among themselves in Sunni and Shia. Islam prohibits such divisions and talks about human race.

…He (God Almighty) named you Muslims (one who submits) before and in this… (Qur’an 22:78)

Myth
Is Qur’an the first book from Allah?

Myth Buster
Quran is not the first Allah’s book but last revealed for the guidance of human kind. Quran affirms the messages that preceded it.

And We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth, confirming that which preceded it of the Scripture and as a criterion over it… (Qur’an 5:48)

Myth
Eating non-veg is compulsory in Islam.

Myth Buster
Eating non-veg is optional and not compulsory in Islam.

Then eat of what Allah has provided for you [which is] lawful and good. And be grateful for the favor of Allah, if it is [indeed] Him that you worship. (Qur’an 16:114)

He causes to grow for you thereby the crops, olives, palm trees, grapevines, and from all the fruits. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who give thought. (Qur’an 16:11)

Myth
Muslims see themselves superior to non-Muslims?

In Islam, the basis of superiority is piety and good actions. Caste, sex, skin color, nationality, language, culture, money etc. has nothing do with the superiority in Islam.

O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted. (Qur’an 49:13)
